Grow Lights for Heat lamps?

My house is a little chilly on most days with it being January, so it regularly is around 66-67 F. I know this is a little on the low side for most species including Chinese mantises. I don't quite have the space or money for a full on heat lamp yet and I was wondering if a grow light that is normally used for plants would work such as the one pictured below. any advice is appreciated.

To my knowledge, LED lights don't generate much heat.

I own a light like that, and it does not put out heat. Order a 15 watt heat cable from Zoomed instead.

my LEDs do emit small amounts of heat, but it makes little difference unless like something's sitting directly on top of them

Currently I'm just using a desk lamp, I think it will provide them with enough heat for now.
