Very unique, long-bodied species. What an elegant profile...
They get very long as adults. Some report up to 7" but I think 6" is more realistic.
AND they reproduce through parthenogenesis, meaning there are only females of this species. Raise your nymph to adult and she will produce viable ootheca without mating! Can't get much simpler than that.
