As expected, your images are beyond outstanding. Superb lighting, nice DOF, informative angles. When I grow up, I pray I can be 1/2 as accomplished as this. What lens did you use? Any stacking?

Oh - and glad you allowed us to glimpse the real you transposed with that other hideous, awful, grotesque avatar.

Does a camera that focuses on everything in frame exist? I love your photos because they look better even than I can see up close, but it would be cool to have a camera with total(or at least variable) focus. If that's a stupid question, sorry. I know nothing about photography.

There is a "camera" by a company called Lytro that captures images that contain all contents in focus using a technology called Light Field. Currently the software allows movement through the focal plane bringing different portions into focus but eventually there will be algorithms to compile all elements into sharp focus. Right now the technology is in its infancy but once they are able to capture data at DSLR resolution it will forever change photography, especially macro photography.

They just added a feature called Perspective Shift that allow the light fields to be decoded in such a way that allows you to slightly change the perspective in relation to the subject.

The really big one is Archimantis monstrosa. They get up over 5" (130mm). They're pretty rare.
Yeah they are cool. I have a friend who has some leads on ooths but I doubt it will turn into anything.

I can't wait! I always thought that people were doing that to the focus on purpose and it made me hate a lot of photographers. I only figured out it was a limitation a few years ago. I almost bought the lytro when it first came out. I had the money saved but I somehow overlooked that it had a comically low resolution.
