I think she will rest in peace because she had a nice positive life. And she died right in my hand. Now her body is being preserved mummy-style in a little medicine bottle. I don't have anything else to use to keep her body from rotting. It's been believed that animals as well as humans have an after-life. Some who have the ability to see the dead have seen animals as well as humans.
