    I keep amphibians and I have Dwarf tropical woodlice (Trichorhina tomentosa) in the tank, they hide under the moss, come out every now and again and clean :-) They do eat waste, I have seen them feast on dead fruit flies and on the amphibians excrement. The frogs will also eat them as well...

    I have L2/L3 Texas Unicorns and I have never seen any cannibalism. I have seen the odd unicorn knocking another unicorn out of the way, but that's it.

    I had two Pseudoharpax Virescen Gambian ootheca's hatch, the first hatched last night with 10 nymphs emerging and the second hatched today and produced 14 nymphs. To celebrate new hatchlings I decided to let one of them have a drink :-) Nymph enjoying his first bud :-) Cheers Andy

    OGIGA was right, the mantis was defective :-) I found him on his back with his legs in the air. However, he took a cricket with him, the back end of the Cricket was still attached to his forearm.

    Sounds like he's about to moult :-) You will probably end up doing what I do spend ages watching and waiting for him to moult, but it doesn't happen. Then you go to sleep, wake up and he's moulted :-) Well that's what normally happens to me.
