I bought that mask, and it's gonna be the head to my mantid robot... ;)

Thanks for the "remove the guts from the head" idea, I agree that the head is pretty heavy. I also trimmed the spot where the abdomen meets up with the magnet, which allowed for him to stand up straight better. I used the bag to gross out my little nephew. :D

heh, take a toothpick, and nudge the half-eaten thing in his/her hand...it's get all excited, chomp down on it again, and get all happy eatiin'... or, it'll freak out, do the "eek, a mouse" stance, and drop its dinner like a goofball. :D

How about sticking 'em in a little see through box that you can carry which lets the kiddies see them, but keep them from jumpin' in their hair...?

If she'd eat THAT..I wonder what else she's eat? :wink: That mantid put up a darn good fight! Can't believe she ate it so two kids would go to church... :roll: Looked like a nice mantid, too. Next time she gets hungry, I'll send Splinter in with his new chainsaw claws... :twisted:

I kinda like the slightly musky smell of baby mantids... ;) Mine rarely smell, I clean the tank out a LOT, and I NEVER , EVER feed them beans! :shock: oops, come to think of it, I DID once, actually. One of mine once ate more then half a chickpea. ;)

Can't hurt to try it, right? :) My mantids seem to like honey... but usually drink water after doing so... ;)
