-Rib: also I was seen this change of colour with an adult female mantis I had (maybe an: californica species?), but in this form: when she was collected their colour was light-green, but some time later she sheding and then she had a new ligh beige-colour, just the same colour of their surrounds...

-I haved seen two native species : one species is some larger and very similar to the chiness-mantis but I don´t sure if really is of this species, and the other species is very small in adult ones (less than one inch). Both species in at least three coluor-phases.
