My flies are looking sad though Serle, because of the holidays I had to resort to using Coffee filters for substrate in the cups. :D  Look at their fat belly's on my Enriched formula!

It is also just sprayed because the coco fiber was awful dry.  I don't often mist that way.

Hi Rotta and Welcome, It's funny where dreams can lead us isn't it?  I fell victim to a baby nymph mantis and fell in love with 6 of them and fell for the hobby hook, line and sinker... J (thats a hook!) 

Oh in our locality here we have them native and we call them Praying Mantises.

  I have as much fun with feeders as I do with mantids.... Can't wait for my ootheca to hatch, but I keep wanting to pile up different genetic variants of my fruit flies for fun. Here is a cup with some special E1 media I made at 21 days.  Larvae everywhere.  

Chinese Praying Mantis

Very humid from slight overmist.  Cocofiber was kind of dry.
