Gotta agree with everyone else. Everything was great; communications, packaging and price! Truly a great person to deal with!!

    Wasp control

I don't think it's gonna help any... It's a shame really... Looks like our wonderfully convenient cellular phones are actually destroying the bees. Most of the world's crops depend on pollination by bees. Albert Einstein once said that if the bees disappeared, "man would have only four years of...

Found some good net cages for mantids

I don't know about you guys, but I'm gonna get one of these 5'9" cubes so I can live inside with my mantids!! http://www.livemonarch.com/castle.htm Just kidding, but I wouldn't mind keeping a small stool inside so that I could sit in there for hours feeding mantids.

    Hierodula membranacea pictures

The lids from http://superiorenterprise.com will work, but you mention that the lids don't fit perfectly, will it stop fruit flies from escaping? Thanks for the post on those containers, I was about to ebay these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...p;rd=1&rd=1

Mantid eggs hatching- all at once?

Ants might be a little too big for nymphs. I'm still new to properly taking care of mantids, but I have been dealing with three chinese ooths (plus 20 more getting ready). I've found that even D. Hydei fruitlies are a little big for most of the nymphs (the don't actually grab the fly 50% of...

    Communal species???

As quoted from http://insectstore.com/blepharopsis.php?os...655754abcc08fbc The Blepharopsis Mendica is an Empusid. There are a few different members of the Empusid family, including Idolomantis Diabolica and Empusa Sp. These can all be housed communally in theory, however, the if not given a...

Pseudovates arizonae ( arizona unicorn mantis )

Keep me in mind if you ever find any, as I'd love to get a few. I'd even like to breed 'em since no one in USA that I know of is caring for them. :!:

Paypal advice...anyone? (Those USING paypal may want a look)

Um... I wouldn't bet on that... "According to PayPal accepting their ToS (Terms of Service) in effect means you waive your rights to credit card consumer protection laws if you want to use their service, and that you may not issue a chargeback for unauthorized use of your credit card and PayPal...

The legend of sleepy hollow, the headless mantis rides again

I've got a bunch of chinese nymphs (L1's, now molting into L2). I noticed a strange creature walking around the bottom of a cup, which I at first thought was some form of stick invert. Closer inspection revealed that it was a mantis body walking around without a head. Yes, that's right, this...

    Deformed ooth

Is that an egg visible in the middle of the ooth (and a few other spots)?? Kinda looks like tempura zucchini to me! Just dip it in some soy sauce and wallah; tempura mantis and veggies.
