Sat 23rd Feb. Im well aware of how far away Yeovil is too after living there for 19/21 years ;) But yeh, If anyone wants to go meet up afterward, grab some food and drink etc that would be pretty cool. If we get enough people RSVP we could probably book somewhere.

    Dry Heat Subtrate

Rob is right, dont worry about heating from the ground up, use a lamp. Gongylus always go to the highest/most stable point they can find within a temperature range which is suitable to them. So just give them a heat lamp and a well vented tank. If you find that all of the gongy are bunching...

    Veggie

Veggie sold me some fresh gongylus blood and went the extra mile for me by rearing them to adult in his care rather than risking it happening in transit. Sadly, the males didnt make the moult, but veggie was quick and friendly and provided me with a full refund. Although no bugs ever changed...

Do a search for "mantis colonies", as Rick said, this has been asked so many times already. But incase you cant be bothered Gongylus gongloides are the least likely to canabalise.

Giant Shield mantis - Rhombodera sp.

The point being Yen, is that between the 3 of us; Rob, Myself and Martin, we all failed at similar times due to some horrible weather, so be very careful. I guess it wont be as big of a problem in the US, but you have been warned!

Giant Shield mantis - Rhombodera sp.

Here is some simple advice Yen; avoid cold snaps. These will die so easily if the temperature drops suddenly (how i lost 4 sub adults in a night). Anyway, good luck with them. If you want some more in-detail accounts, just msn me.
