I went outside and caught a mosquito and he ate it :) thanks for all your help everyone.

My mantis is very small, maybe a couple centimeters long. My dad just tells me to let him go when i ask him if i can buy my mantis fruit flies off the internet. I would have to go to the pet store to get brine shrimp and he does not want to take me. I am just going to let it go :(

I am not sure which insects to catch. Right now in my area there are mosquitos, but i do not know if he/she will eat them.

I doubt it would get here before he died. How would i feed them to him?
