Do shipping costs come down in the Spring/Summer? Are they high now due to the need for heat packs?

Thanks, just curious.

USPS is not happy unless they are raising prices. They just got all that money from the gov and still want more. Anyone notice how thin the boxes are now? If they get any thiner, I will need a box to put their box in, no kidding. It's like the tp, it got skinner and skinner. All our tp holders are almost wide enough to put on two rolls.
I also have to glue the ends to the mostly flat boxes and tape plus glue the label on. I kept getting boxes back with a note from the po that the contents fell out and they dont know what it was.... here's a tip, stop stepping on them....

I primarily use UPS

I prefer UPS and FedEx, unfortunately I don't drive (blind) so it does make it inconvenient, unless I'm sending out a lot on the same day... then I'll Uber them to drop off. 😀

With the rise in postal rates and delays many breeders/dealers must require Express shipping. I understand the rational completely. Delayed deliveries often result in dead specimens and the breeder usually catches the heat (and possibly bad feedback) because of something they can't control. Unfortunately, these changes have made it too expensive for many keepers. I remember when I could buy a $20 specimen and pay around $27+. Now because of delays, that same specimen will cost $50+. Many beginners can't justify the cost. 😕

Anger directed at the breeder is unwarranted. In my opinion, If the delay is caused by the shipping service, people should take that into consideration before they leave bad feedback for the breeder.
