Does anyone know a good site for small plastic Faunarium tanks, im not talking 23 x 15 x 16cm, I mean the extra small one thats 9 x 5.5 x 5 cm. I know they exist as I bought one from Ian, but he's currently out of stock and i need one fast! I thought theres no better place to ask :)

if you find them later on it might help to spray them with water to slow down their skin setting hard as you take them out. So far I have only lost 1 Mantis to a bad molt and since then I've managed to rescue mine if something goes wrong. I guess it depends on how late you find them

its far better to attach the ooth to the top of the tank to make it easier for the mantids to hatch out as far as i remember. You need ot make sure you have some food ready, a fly culture is most popular. There are many sites you can order them from

If you intend to mainly take pictures of your bugsm I dont really think it matters too much what camera you use as long as it has a good macro lens, or you buy a good macro lens for it :) That being said its pretty silly assuming someone wants a camera simply for bugs. I have a fuji Finepix...

its a Hierodula Grandis bought from Ian :) I would get an underside shot, but the mantis is far to small to handle in such a way, and it tends to do alot of jumping, so i dont want to keep it out of its home too much in case I lose it. This is the best I can get for the mean time.
