They look to be both males. Color difference is strange since both are kept in the same small deli cup together, I thought humidity was supposed to be the causing factor.

Just thought I'd fill everyone in. Us frog addicts use the 32oz cups for our flies but they seem to work just as well for mantids. Superior has em for .30 each with a min of 240 cups but our Josh over at joshsfrogs sells em for .30 each with no minimum...

Title pretty much says it all. I still cant decide what to put in the 12x12x18 exo at work. For now I guess I'll go with mantids since they're fairly easy to setup for. The tank is not ff proof so I'd prefer larger species that can handle the large area and larger feeders. Thanks Lee

Thanks, thats actually part of the reason I'm asking about other things than just mantids. The exo's aren't ff proof by any stretch of the imagination and others in my office wouldn't be pleased with just about any live feeders. Appreciate the help though B)

I've moved my mantis from the frog rack to my desk inside a little enclosure. I'm hoping this will increase the temps in their containers a little higher above room temp. The ESU Reptile light that I have above them puts off a ton of heat. So far without putting my logger inside the cups it...

I have two L3/4 ghosts and an L3 cryptic. I'm still feeding them melano fruit flies every other day or so, when do I "need" to increase the prey size? I've thrown a housefly in there once or twice but they seemed to be afraid of it since its about the same size or slightly smaller than them...
