I proposed some honey yesterday and she didnt ate it. She ate it the first time i gave it to her. Since one or two day she is really inactive at the bottom of the cage. Is she gonna molt ? I don't know when was the last molt, but on friday it will be 2 weeks since i got her. I'm really scared...

They are young and very small ones. Maybe there was some insecticides on my carrots, or maybe they didnt eat enough. I gave some bamboo leaves to the 5 grasshoppers that are still alive and they ate them and now they seem to be doing a bit better.

Look at it, especially at the end, she is shaking and having some spasms. It's a sphodromantis lineola. Is it normal ? And when she moves she seems to be trying to find a place to put her legs but she shakes while doing it...

I keep grasshopers to feed my mantis but some of them (5 on 25) died. I keep them in a 20x30x20 faunabox (maybe a little smaller i didnt measure it). I feed them carrots and lettuce but i found 2 of them dead on the lettuce. I use some hygienic paper as a substrate, i mist their food with water...

I speak french. I will give her some honey then. I read about carrots and will probably stop feeding them with carrots even though its going fine for now. Could i put honey on the grasshopers ? just a random idea.

oh i thought it was called crickets in english. I actually feed them with grasshopers. the grasshopers are fed with carrots and lettuce sometimes... and how do you make them eat honey ?

Mine is doing it and it looks like it does it to try to impress me when she is scared. She does it when she come on my hand, when i feed her etc...

I didnt see her shaking again. She spend her time on the "plant" and i just gave her a cricket. She wasnt really agressive to eat it, i shaked it over her head and i let it go and then it fell on her and she started eating. Still eating now so i guess she wont molt soon am i right ? In 2 days i...

Ok thanks for the  answer, mine ate a cricket yesterday, it took her 1h30 so i think it was quite a big meal. I guess that's why she is "sleeping". I left for 2 hours and she is still at the exact same place. Now she is moving a bit. I got it on how to handle them. Tomorrow I will feed her.

i misted it, its fascinating. Is it bad to handle them ? i did put it on my and my gf's hands before going out. she is nt movin a lot, is it normal ? not drinkin aSWELL
