hello did you get ur 5 mantis of ebay aswell? sounds like you got the same deal as me ^_^ 2 chinese 2 african and an orchid :D i feed mine ants aswell i have a fruit fly culture but they are still in cacoons waiting for them to hatch so in the mean time im just finding ants and spiders and...

the turtles are a really fat red bellied a yellow bellied and a map turtle :D I keep them in a tank over winter but as it starts to warm up again they go in my dads pond which they love and im not sure what kind of tortoise it is, he is only a baby ^_^

thanks for the fast replys guys i helped him out his skin but he just lay there moving his abdomen a tiny bit so i put him in the freezer :cry:

hi I woke up earlier around 8 and my baby mantis had been shedding his skin he was nearly all out appart from his back 4 legs and its now 5 in the afternoon and he is still in the same position, does it normally take this long? is there anything i can do to help him?

helllooo im luke im 19 at the moment im a laborer and live in the uk i love my animals i have 2 dogs 2 cats lots of fish a pirana a emperor scorpion 5 mantis 2 african 2 chinese and an orchid, giant snails, 3 turtles and a tortoise :D

yeah I have them at the moment i dont know who i got them off :oops: but anyways my baby orchid mantis loves them haha he has 1 in each arm right now nibbling away :lol: I tried to take a picture but my camera sucks and he is to small to focus on :(
