well reading this makes me feel a little better, been getting a lot lately especially chinese, only 2 adults survived from an ooth a while ago. I recently just lost 2 adult orchids no idea why.

I can't take a picture atm, but it's just a 32 oz cup with fabric lid, i poked holes in the fabric for more ventilation, i had coco bark fiber on the bottom and a plastic flower in there, but she spent most her time outside of the enclosure, on a houseplant or lampshade. 

well i don't think shes going to make it, her health just took a nose dive right after i posted that, she's not moving much at all she fell over and rolled on her back with no attempt to move, she has her head tucked down. She's still alive but barely it's so sad.

thanks i think i'll try that next molt since i have a couple mesh cages, but over feeding looks like it was the problem. I had a bunch of successful molts after i let them thin out a bit.

probably way too much, i was feeding everyday when they were small then went to every other day. A lot more then i feed my other mantids...I was hoping they would molt quicker so i could sex them. Once i was able to sex them i slowed down feeding on the males but kept the females every other day...

Well i just have them using the vented lids, i put thick popsicle sticks in in case they want to use that but they've just been using the lids they haven't fallen or seem to have problems with the surface though. I also have some in mesh cages that also have similar bad rate of getting stuck...

Thanks for the advice, she's still been throwing up but only small amounts not as much as before. She also won't eat or drink water, i have given her some honey but even honey she only eats a little bit and then pushes it away. Despite this she still seems healthy and has been active walking...
