Orchid mantis won’t eat & shaking?

It depends if it is male or female. Males are rather small. I would think that house flies would be the right size. Normal movement does look shaky they like are blown by wind. It sounds like it is pre-molt.

    Selling Mantises at Reptile Shows?

I have not done this. I am also thinking about it. It really depends on the attitude of the person or persons running the event. They are many state laws governing species of reptiles. I would suggested you have a range of prices from high to low. You lure customers with low price and in the...

You never see the larvae. They are a weevil that destroys crops. There are controlled in some states. You just put adult and some old beans with new culture. The preferred food is black-eyed peas. The adults live like two weeks and only lay eggs. They never drink or eat. I just put four bugs...

    Hello everyone

Good luck. I also want to breed and sell. How hard are green bananas to keep? I would prefer something that can't escape and live in the house. I have had bad experiences with the common cockroach.

    Instar designations--L or i?

Did you (Hysteresis) mean Latin species names? I agree they are better than common names but there can be several common names depending on location. What is that quote? "The biggest communication problem between US and England is lack of a common language." LOL

How do we get this place more active?

This will be slightly political. Right now Facebook is being pressured to stop any selling or trading of animals. The more open the forum the more likely to attract the attention of people wanting to correct your behavior. This is happening to some of the fish and rabbit groups.
