That's exactly what I think , sometimes its so frustrating when you put in loads of time and effort and you can lose that all with one slip while moulting. how long did your female not eat for ? I think mine is well past the three week mark , without eating anything at all

I've had my adult female congo grab me with both forearms , she leaned in to bite, I let her thinking it wouldn't be sore. really sharp nipping followed by a bit of blood , dont think she liked the taste as she let me go :lol:

I do , but not for them! :lol: no chance haha , hopefully they'll be distributed a bit and we'll learn a bit about their requirements worth the wait in my opinion

Just wondering if anybody on here has any of these yet,or heard anything more about them, I'd love to try raising one in the future if and when they are introduced in the UK. Definetly something I'd love to have in my collection (If I could keep them alive, that is) :P

I wouldn't feed it crickets, they haven't got the best reputation as livefood , gutloaded bluebottles are best , going by my peacocks handfeeding usually works a treat , if you have a morio , chop it up into a small piece and put it near their mouthparts, they should grab it and start eating ...

I live in the UK, that's what I was doing about two weeks ago , because of the weather all the moths have seemed to have just disappeared, thats why I moved onto flies in the first place

they love it dry , you only have to spray just before a moult , I'll give a droplet on a tweezer a try.

I've got some waxworms coming in that are hatching soon, She seems to go for moths a lot more. Temps are just under 35c directly under the spotlight , and 25c at the top corners. It looks like she's eaten one or two when I wasn't looking , which is hopefully her on the way to eating properly...
