    [LF] Medium Net Cube

Now that mantisplace.com has discontinued their net cubes for sale, I was wondering if anyone has a 14x14x14 net cube or something close to it that will house my heterochaeta sp. when he/she is an adult. Please PM me if you know where I could get one or if you have one yourself.

I recommend ghosts, that's what I started with. They're communal (can live together with no cannibalism), look beautiful, and are relatively easy to take care of. I'm actually hoping for a ghost ootheca pretty soon if you decide you want one :)

    Idontwannamolt Diabolica

So sad :( this has happened to two of my P. wahlbergii nymphs over the last month, after not molting after three months... I've bumped up the heat hoping it will help them but nothing yet.

Lost my female ghost tonight :(

Thanks everyone :) sounds like I should be thankful she lived so long, I thought it was rather average but I'm happy either way :)

Lost my female ghost tonight :(

Noticed that she began to have wet poops and some vomit on the side of her net cage, I think she may have overeaten or eaten something bad. She lived a long healthy life of around 11 months, and I raised her from an L2. After initially buying four nymphs, losing one to cannibalism, and the...

Keeping subadult and adult ghost mantids together?

I do only have three. I am still unsure on the gender, I will be posting pictures in this thread after I get home from work tonight. I have kept the three of them successfully in this cube since they were L5 with no issues whatsoever, only separating the separate instars when molts occured.

Keeping subadult and adult ghost mantids together?

I'm pretty sure both the L7 and adult are female, and I have one L6 male straggler. The container houses the females, its a 15" net cube and I always make sure enough crickets are there for them. This was very unexpected!

Keeping subadult and adult ghost mantids together?

hello! My first ghost mantis has finally molted into an adult, but I have a question. I never keep instars together, but since the size increase from subadult to adult wasn't huge, I am wondering if keeping them together is okay? I don't want any cannibalism.

Help! Is my ghost doomed? :(

Thanks! She is doing quite well and eating alot. I have them in a net cube so they are fine with climbing. She has been on the side for a while so I might attempt to move her soon.

Help! Is my ghost doomed? :(

Update for those curious-- He is happily eating a cricket just minutes after placing some in their habitat :) thank you all for your reassurance, i'll be sure to post if he recovers his leg at L7 or adult!

Help! Is my ghost doomed? :(

I just woke up to a beautiful sight--he was hanging from the top of his habitat with no problem :) I think he will pull through! I'm just worried that there are not enough molts left

    Hi from Chicago!

Hello MantidForum!!! I am Jack from Chicago. I am 17, and I got into mantids first in 3rd grade, when we saved one from outdoors, named it Yoshi, and kept it for about six months, where it lived a happy life :) recently, I purchased some ghost nymphs from someone on reddit.com. They are now...
