Yeah, the Fallout games are pretty addictive :D .

It's a standalone game. Fallout 3 was the older game from 2 years ago and that game had add-ons. Fallout New Vegas is the new one and a little different from Fallout 3. It will have add-ons but nothing is scheduled for release just yet.

I recently purchased Fallout New Vegas for xbox 360. There are giant Mantids in the game that you have to kill. There are also Mantis ootheca in the game as well. I feel bad every time I have to kill one with my plasma rifle :( .

The Crane Flies in the Seattle area are 2.5 - 3 inches long. They are huge! Males are slightly smaller. There are no baby Crane Flies. When they emerge they are full sized adults. There are other smaller versions of that insect but they aren't Cranes.
