From the southern tip of Malaysia to the northern tip of Malaysia is about 8-9 hours driving (not too bad). from east to west, 2-3 hours to the central and the due to underdevelopment in the west of Peninsular malaysia, it takes another 5-6 hours.
However, it will be way longers to travel in...
They have an address in the website. Since you are in Malaysia, why not just drive up to Bukit Damansara and check them out. If they are not like what they claim ....... you can be sure not to get anything from them.
Erm...........no more orchid ooths or mantis in Malaysia?? Orchid mantis is native to Malaysia, go down to Johor Bahru, there is an orchid garden (if you are lucky you can find some orchd mantis there). If not just get a few friends , some parang (machete) and hire some orang asli (indigineous)...
If you are breeding chameleon, you would have to breed a lot of food; fruitflies, cricket, roaches, wormsa etc..... I just don't have time, so I buy them....thats why they are costly
They are not that hard to keep, they need humidity, heat, food, UV light, a cage, some life plants, some branches.....and tons of love for them. Almost the same as mantis, however everything have to be bigger.
Feed them with Houseflies dusted with pollen + gut loaded with honey. Have heat lamp on in the morning and shut at night about 12 hours cycle (about 24 - 28'C ). Mist them 1X a day. They were so active and munching on houseflies, 2 days later they drop dead on the bottom of the cage.
Hi all,
I will be going to a camping trip this weekend. I was wondering if anyone has any experience in collecting wild mantis? Back in Malaysia, I used to camp in the jungle, pitch black at night. I collect insect by hanging a white cloth betwen branches and place a white light in front of it...
