I bought this mantid from a reptile shop as a Pseudocreobotra wahlbergii, but on comparing it to my other adult male wahlbergii I think it may be a male ocellata instead, it's smaller than my male, it's spines are also flatter and not so "spikey", please see following pics...

Well she moulted last night, and I'm happy to say that she made it and is now a magnificent adult. She has grown back some of her back legs so she can now use them for grip. :lol:

Depends what part of France you are going to, but you could find Mantis regiliosia and thats about it.....

I'd say Shield, they are a great mantid and get pretty big. I need an adult or sub-adult male if anyone can source one ;)

Since mating them the female has laid 2 ooths, one a day after mating and the second on thursday, think its time to try mating again.
