    Thank u a lot for the answer ! Cant't imagine how anyone would stop with the mantis lol! I' m going to stop with stick insects cause they ars too much hasdle but mantis... No wAy! I have my hands full indeed! i mostly feed fruit flies to small mantids then crickets mealworms and for the big ones...

    Hello there. I didn't post here much but I just wanna let u guys know how is my collection going. I started with 2 Sphodromantis lineola last november I think and now I've got like 38 mantids... Lineolas, P. Laticollis, ghosts, Deroplatys desiccata and Truncata, Popa's, S. viridis, Rhomboder...

    I keep a molting diary and another diary where I stick the molted skins. Otherwise I just put photos on facebook.

    what is the largest bulkiest preying mantis out there, once I find out Imma get me one. tell me, tell me.

    It was not for sale, they just had a couple of adult females from different species to show (loved the D. Lobata) apart from nymphs they were selling, but when there are babies, I'll probably get them :D

    Also I got a pair of P. Laticollis, they are so cute and they like to jump on my face. And 5 Paradoxas, 2 girls and 3 boys, they are super tiny.

    So both of them are guys. They are pretty big now the molted 4 times since I got them. I named them Ziggy and Snape. They are always hungry and a lot of fun.

    So they molted again last week, they are doing fine so far. They are super cute. I think they remember that I am the one who gives them food cause they sonetimes get excited when they see me. Wonder if they are girls or boys.

    So one of my mantis molted yesterday night ( i slept so I dunno when). She/he is already moving. Should I feed her ot wait till tomorrow? I only have baby crickets my fruit flies died gotta get new ones somewhere.

    Hey I am new here and I am planning to get a mantis so I have some questions: I read that a draft from open window can be harmful to mantids so what do I do when I want to open windows to get some fresh air in the appartment. And outside temperatures can be pretty grim here. Opposite to that...
