The males actually have more colors than the females. His wings are stripes, hers aren't. He also has more purple on his shield. And he has red antennae.

Thank you! Yes, theres always one out of the group thats #1 for me. I hate when any of my mantids die but those #1 babies are the worst! Right now my favorite is Baline. Shes a gentle giant! and a beautiful one at that.

Its drawer liner, it works well for idolo molts! My male molted all the way to adulthood with it. This female i used polyester cargo mesh for the last two molts. Thank you! they are very beautiful. Im thrilled to have adults at last. Big and colorful and such an interesting shape.
