    Well I personally like the more robust species so I went for rhombodera extensicollis, sphodromantis "blue flash" and because I have some little tubs that will be perfect for smaller animals, miomantis paykullii. Hopefully I will be able to get a decent picture or two.

    Thank you for the warm welcome, this forum is much more bustling than I thought it would be. Definitely a good thing.  Well my next step is attempting to source a couple of animals.  I'm in the uk, cambridgeshire specifically, any good advice about best places to obtain some mantis?
