Depending upon the temps they're kept in/at and how much prey the are offered or intake. Times can vary ;)   As far as prey goes, I feed mine houseflies,bluebottle flies, and moths. Take advantage of the weather while you can. Size is 2.5 to 3 inches I think, not large and easy to keep.

She's a pretty one.I especially like that 2nd photo lol ;)

Just mimic your spring/summer temps and you should be fine. room temp for her is good. For humidity a paper towel damp will work, personally I wouldnt worry too much about it since she's already an adult and will no longer molt. If anything offer a drink (misting) daily or everyother. I use...

What about Griffins? They're aggressive as well towards prey, or the double shields.

She'll be fine with the torn wing, females commonly don't fly. Maybe you'll get lucky and she'll leave you an ootheca as reward for taking her in. ;)  

Finally, busted skin.

Oh yeah, she definitely is lol. She's also a nosey mantis ^_^  always watching from her door. She's caught up, or the boys caught up with her rather... she's always been the one ahead of the others. They're all still sitting at subadult and should molt within the same window if I've done it...

09.17.16 And still the waiting game...-Ruin.

My crew and I made it through last winter on dubia, mhc, and lobster roaches alone.... and I keep the infamous Idolomantis. So I'd say it's definitely do-able, so long as you have enough feeders colonized before the cold season comes. Dubia roaches are easy to rear... really just keep them hot...

Awe, man.... I see them about 3 inches or so at the petsmart here, they may be smaller lol. Pretty crazy how something so small can get so big :D   Nice save on the Chinese, had it been me? I probably would have taken it home. (some....40+ miles away from the local anything now after the move)...
