    It seemed to go perfectly, and she risked her life by hooking only THREE legs onto the fabric I put in there. One thing I don't get is that if a Mantid lost it's antenna, it would regrow it by a molt, she didn't, as it only grew about half a millimeter every time. But, one of her antenna looks...

    sweet! Shes a cutie. Im waiting for my Subadult female Hierodula Mem.t to molt soon. This looks kind of like Iris Oratoria.

    She has been in sub adult for about 3-4 weeks now, and she's due for her molt. the wing buds are looking very "hard" and have been like this for days.

    In your sponge cage, it will be unlikely. Just feed him anything but store bought crickets and mist daily, and he will be fine. Can you post a pic of him?

    If he's just flicking the prey around, he may be ready to molt. My subadult female Hierodula M. Is doing that, and I see the wing-buds are very "hard" looking and she is ready to molt. Good luck with Geoffrey!
