I think it helps the insect in the long run. Someone is more likely to take really good care of a 75.00 orchid, than a 5.00 mantis.

I would like to add that at later stages near adulthood, it's a good idea to keep lower numbers together. There is risk of a cage/tank mate bumping into a fellow molting mate. Which usually isn't a good thing.

Picked up some more Idolo's from Nick. Had bought some nymphs from him last year. And the offspring of those Idolomantis just happen to start hatching on the same day as the new round of mantids from Nick arrived. So I'm in Idolo haven right now, thanks to Nick.

Well it was full alright. Must of hatched out 500+ nymphs. The species that hatched out is one of the clingiest mantis I know. So spliting up the nymphs was quite a process, last night. :surrender:
