    IM A BEGINNER! HELPP!

I am not entirely sure where you are at, but if it is somewhere that you have bugs around, I would go out and try to catch some little critters to feed them. If that is out of the question, try down at your local pet store to see if they have any flightless D. Hydeii as those should work for...

    Winter Frustrations

Dingdingding! I gave him some water on a toothpick after reading something about warm water as opposed to the cold water I had been giving him and he drank it right up. Still being quite evasive on the crickets though.

    Winter Frustrations

Well, now a new problem has arisen. He grabbed the first half cricket, took a few bites, and threw it on the ground. He refuses to grab any more force fed cricket goo parts and swats them away rather violently. Almost as if he is full. Still has a very thin abdomen.

    Winter Frustrations

Thursday night, my ghost molted into a sub adult. Here in Washington, it has been freezing for the past two weeks. All of the bugs died. Since he had just molted, he hadn't eaten for a few days and his abdomen is looking very thin. I went to the pet store and bought some crickets, but he seems...

    Secret molt?

That might explain why he threw it across the container after a few bites.

    Secret molt?

Are pill bugs an issue? He is eating again and still hasn't molted. (Ate a harvestman last night)

    Secret molt?

Its possible, but he puffed up like, a week and a half ago and was eating readily until just a few hours ago when he chucked a barely eaten pill bug across the enclosure.

    Secret molt?

So, since I have gotten my ghostie, he hasn't molted. At least, I think he hasn't. Last week, I noticed he looked significantly larger than usual. I figures he may have molted while I was asleep. Will they eat their shed exoskeleton? That is the only explanation I can think of for not having...

    Ladybugs?

Report: I found a ladybug well within his capabilities, and he struck at it a few times, but seemed uninterested after that.

    Ladybugs?

I have enormous amounts of ladybugs all around my house and I think about feeding them to my Ghost, but I see the colors and think that there could be a toxin at work in their little bodies. Are they an acceptable food source?
