New to the hobby and am expecting a Ghost in the mail next week. I get the gist of feeding them, but I have never had anybody mention anything about water. Do I feed them water with a cotton swab? Or do they get it from their food?
I have heard a million and one horror stories where the mantis dies, or almost dies during the molt. With proper feeding and humidity and temperature, how common is this, actually? People make it out like it happens every one out of three times!

Pretty much what the title said. Preferably a nymph, but anything works. I'm new here, so I have no idea what ANY mantis goes for, I'm counting on this community I have perceived as very kind so far not to scam the ignorant on price.

You could say I am very new to keeping mantids. Not so much phasmids, but mantids, yes. I really only have one question: Where would you suggest I get my first mantids?
