They are nice! Where can I get afew?

My mantids LOVE them! They are wonderful. But, there is another use for them. They are great composters. Better than earthworms. Plus another bonus, they dont stink!!! So they are great for indoor composting. Give them a try.

Ask Digger. He saved his mantis, Tiffany. Search her name here. You then will see what he did. She lived afew months more and died of old age.

I kept my mantis Sticky going with it and honey and bee pollen too.

If she can still drink, give her some room temperature whole milk. Most mantids like it. It has worked well.

Monsters! Do they hurt mantids too if eaten? I caught one checking out my caterpillar cage and gave it to one of my big girls.

Mine do that with my yarns and spinning fibers. The more I try to get it away from them, the harder they clamp on! Blowing on the mantis can help getting them to stop.

Im so glad they have been so good for you Lame!  They are wonderful as adults, no matter where I set them down, they stay there. My females have been excellent. If you can get yours to breed, I would love some babies.

Do the double shields always turn brown? I love the green and especially those pink eyes!

They love flies! Get some wax moths and let them turn into moths. The moths are really nice.
