Well, I think they are finished hatching with a total of 71. Five of them never got their legs separated and seemed to be tangled in silk. I tried to save them but only got two of them free and they are in a seperate little cup so I can watch him. I hope they start eating soon they don't seem...

That's a good question.  I don't know, I been getting a temperature though... I think I might be developing the dreaded mantid fever :o   But seriously, I hear they have 25-80 ish per ooth. So probably that many.

Well I don't want to count my mantids before they've hatched! Although, if I succeed at raising them I should have some extra.

Hello guys n gals, I received an ooth today and it is cracked/broken near the top part where it is attached to a stick.  So what I'm wondering is can this still hatch or will they have likely dried out already? I don't know how deep the crack is or if it just happened during transit but...
