What do you keep your mantids in?

It's just Nick bud, of course to each his(or her) own, I have critter keepers as well I just don't use them much. people use 100's of different types of containers, from empty candy jars to 100 gallon aquariums and every thing in between, if it works then use it I say.

What do you keep your mantids in?

A big deli will cost you less and do a better job the way it is, screen lid? cloth lid? Either way it's much cheaper and effective.

Exo Terra L6 and up, net cage L2-5, 80 oz deli's for the rest... trial and error got me to this, and it seem's to work out nice, I could just be lucky though?

    Exploding abdomen

Hey hey hey its Faaat Albert, Haha... I would think 3 big crix a week would be more than plenty especially for a male, every day is a bit much and not needed(as you have seen).

    Exploding abdomen

No desert for him! But seriously your lucky some males nearly starve themselves, don't feed him till it goes back down(a few days) just mist to drink and he'll be fine. If your really worried warm him up to speed up his metabolism.

    Transplanting Heads?!

I sold hundreds and hundreds of Idolo that I bred myself and only 1 or 2 people had any success besides me after that with them, so believe me it's people getting things they can't handle more than them getting something weak, this time around I will only sell to people that can handle it, not...

Yeah most of the older shows are much slower paced than todays stuff but it's still fun to laugh at their cloths and hair. I'm no spring chicken but I'm not old enough to have seen the Monkees first hand either except for all the reruns they had for the next 10-20 years, Lol. :wheelchair:

I've had the same culture going for over 2 years now using several folded coffee filters in each, I used to use excelsior and filters but now I just use the filters, the cultures do very well and last about 4 weeks each, you can use just about anything non-toxic that gives good surface area...
