Wow - that's impressive. The chances of a mantis naturally wandering into the shot is nill lol and it happened. The stare in his eyes almost makes me feel like he's got more going on up inside his head than we normally give them credit for.

Just feeders. I'm all set, thanks though. And yes, I have seen them out in the wild under rotting logs. I always think they're ants until I smell them then I'm reminded.

I know the feeling Giesle. I try to be adventurous and go to a nursery and buy something beautiful for the frog or mantid terrariums and then it's dead in a week :( And yes, more pics welcome :)
