    I don't think most insects have the right kind of nervous system to be able to experience pain, but they can sense danger so I dunno. I've had several grasshoppers struggle to escape though.

    Yea, If you can get the mantis to it's next molt it could regenerate and possibly heal its legs and be able to walk again.

    Mantis not moving her raptorial arm.

    Mantis hasn't moved her right arm in a couple days but she's moved the other one. Almost as if its been stuck in this position. I don't know of anything that could've caused it...   Perhaps someone could help tell me whats wrong?

    Of the few that I've owned i never need to coax them to walk on my hand, it's like they are so fascinated with me they can't stand getting back in their enclosures.
