I don't think that breeders, whose level of expertise you will most likely never achieve, would be bothered by comments on their greediness. Good breeders are more than allowed to reward themselves for their competence.

Then that was a really great bargain compared to their usual price. About 20 EU is typical for one L1 nymph. Personally, I don't think they should be worth that much. Never saw them, but don't reall need to - to me the no. 1 is still Idolomantis, hands down.

Really? Because I hear that Mantisdeperu has apparently just bred this species, and introduced it to the world-wide market! Yo, for real.

Don't forget the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere - it affects the size as well. I wonder if it could make them bumby body parts bigger... hmmm, niiiice!

If she is not engorging herself, it's not a good sign. Mine eat like crazy, they just tear through zounds of flies in a matter of hours - all healthy mantids do, especially Empusidae like Idolomantis.

I recently ordered two D. hydei cultures - after just one week there were only mites inside, and soon everything started to mold, so even mites died out. So, I wasted 17$, and now I have no flies for my Bolbena - great.

Yeah, this time I was reincarnated as an in-your-face, rouchy white guy. But the pimpin' and swaggin' is almost there. On the downside... my hair don't curl.
