    For clarification, yellow orchid mantises (Parymenopus davisoni) is actually a different species from the usual orchid mantis (Hymenopus coronatus).

    It’s probably like that due to issues when removing it from the skin/when it was drying during the molt. As long as he can move and eat fine it won’t really matter.

    Yeah, I knew this was pretty weird. I hope that he molts soon and isn’t just doomed to eventually just one day end up dead.
