I heard a while ago that if a mantis is fed on the biggest sized bugs it can catch and eat, particularly butterflys & moths with their huge wings and strength, that the mantis will adapt and get bigger somehow like training ur muscles to get bigger. Have you guys tried it or heard anything...

i cant quite remember why those two were together, but i know that before i put some on a tree togehter really fast while i cleaned out or moved cages. and the one with the concave sheild after the green, i believe giant indian mantis, is a giant devils mantis. boy those things were a fragile...

hey everyone. ever since the new mantid forum was made, my computer was having a problem getting into it. it kept freezing up. but i'm back(again)lol after like 4 times i had periods where i havent been on here. but anyways i only have one mantis now and its a giant indian male about 2 weeks...

bought mantids again from yen! and again all were in perfect condition! even tho the post office didnt deliver it properly wich caused a 4 day wait but they all survived! with nice insulation and packaging! will definitly buy mantids from him again! thanks yen for the extras too!!

yea i keep mine outside too! i think its the easiest plus you can bring them in a few weeks later to start incubating but try to make sure its cold enough out there like no warm summer nights. that worked with me.
