    That grass hopper is called a South Eastern Lubber Grasshopper, the second insect is a Western Pine Borer, and the third one is a Eastern Dobson fly the borer shouldnt be fed to the mantis but the other 2 are fine. Nice insects by the way:D Joe

    O but these mites or something were like moving and running around and they made the ooth smell nasty inside :( . it was pretty freaky to see parasites in the ooth, it also looked like in the spaced between the outer skin and the egg core, it was all spaced and moldy filled with those parasite...

    What i do if i have any extra mantids such as nymphs, is i buy large deli cups to house them in, they are quite cheap and i continue to keep them in there 2day. there are big enought to house ghosts, orchids, PW's, and any other mantids that get up to 2-3 inches through out their full life. Joe
