haha It never fails... This is how bad I am at sexing. I thought I had all males left after bobericc took 5 of them. Today I have a female adult. facepalm. So hatched on Christmas and adult on February 7th- that was quick.

lol ooh.. Yeah, I have only ever attempted spiders twice. The first time, it got eaten butt-first without a problem. The second one ran and hid and then built a web, so that's no good either. No one was hurt, but that was the end of spiders at my place. Not worth the risk. Hope your mantis is...

I think someone needs to make an animated gif of this- just a giant mantis jumping onto someone's face on repeat. That would be hilar.

Yeah, why is it not dry? Easier: feed the pollen to the fly = delicious gooey center. I figure it doesn't make a difference if it's on the inside or outside.
