How are the Deroplatys desiccata? Are they docile or aggressive?

Large and lumbering as adults. I paired my female with two different males by just placing the male on her back. Then last two times, she ate em. LoL.

    Coronavirus: Thoughts?

Caljfornia made the news, werent people walking the beaches in pairs etc. Controversy over social distancing. Lockdown is where you really can't go out: food, work, medical, and maybe a walk. Parks are closed. You're sitting at a park bench, the police move you along. No visiting. People...

    Coronavirus: Thoughts?

We are back in lockdown here in the Toronto area. Kids were told to do online school for one week after Christmas. They just extended it for another two weeks. It'll be a long lockdown this time. The lockdown was originally planned for one month (because the data implied the spread wasn't...

    Longest Lifespan

I think that with long-lived genera like Deroplatys, the trick is to keep them mechanically intact. Line their enclosures only in the soft shelf liner, and don't handle them, unless they climb willingly on to your hand.  I keep hearing their tarsi get broken and they have troubles getting around...

    Coronavirus: Thoughts?

TODAY:  2,139 new infections and 43 new deaths in my province. That's 43 people just today, that wont say Merry Christmas to their loved ones. https://toronto.citynews.ca/2020/12/16/ontario-covid19-cases-december16/ Our provincial Minister of Education is preparing to close schools (although...

    How i pack my parcel

Really? I do all my adult ships like Yen did when he sent me a male mega: Low in height, wide enough it could reposition, but not large enough so as to minimize mechanical impulse and thus momentum. Thats probably what you're getting at. But a trapped nymph often dies. I wonder how a trapped...

Going nuts trying to create a safe environment for p. walhbergii

Just house in mesh cubes. Higher humidity is fine with excellent ventilation. Nymph spinys do alright at room temps, but better 75degF and up. Adult females should be kept at correct temps.
