You can't keep all species in deli cups once adult though,with larger mantids with sticky toes and sticks ect. in them I don't see any problem,if you keep non sticky pads in them they are always visible as they sit on the sticks ect. you put in them and not the lid. I've lamped and raise plenty...

I use these all of the time,for some species i glue in sticks and then take a sheet of fabric mesh and lay it over the container and then put the lid on it,they also come really large for bigger species,keep most of the adults of normal species in these just fine :)

I kept back too many budwings this time and have decided to sell off half so others can have them and breed them shortly and I will have less of the same species to feed lol. I have kept my males in a cooling room so they are L5/L6 where as females are L6/L7 so they should all be only 2 molts...

I know mine here have preferences,I've tried moths a lot and most actually don't like them as much,but the bigger species like Majs and Rhombos seem to enjoy the bigger prey like crickets ect. more than the flies which the smaller or thinner ones like,so I think both how they are raised and what...

This is my first time with Ephestiasula Pictipes and they have since become adults and the male has connected with 3/4 females. I have since received one ooth so far,so was wondering about the hatching time for ooths and incubation conditions for this species,and how fertile their connections...
