Lowest acceptable temperatures?
Don’t use a heat lamp with mantids. They are know to short out and fry inverts. Also mantids go down to escape heat.

Devil's Flower Mantis (Idolomantis diabolica)
I kept around 15ish species before getting mine. They are on a different level of finicky and a pain in the but to feed. Very pretty though.

Feeding Mantids honey
Yeah, organic honey is good. Especially like the organically sold honey sticks.

Feeding Mantids honey
Honey is good for them if they are vomiting or lethargic. It is also a good treat and helps to get them eating. You can feed it 1-2x a week.

I prefer Tux to tuxedo, sounds a bit less formal and more boyish ;)

I’m pretty sure hers is a morphotype 6, the basic Avicularia avicularia.

Ono is actually female ;) I confirmed. Crest and segments point that way. @MantisMart update on Ono?

Possible abdominal collapse on my spiny flower
Thin abdomen, wings go extremely far over the tip of the abdomen, female edge spikes are smaller.
