Speaking of beardies, I fed 3 adult female Blue flashes to mine on Friday, bit sad, but they were in rough shape, last few hours of their lives, due to old age. He was happy though!

I think it also depends on the species. Orchids for example suffer effects of inbreeding much faster than others, like Chinese for example.

Dubia's are great, as Patrick said, you only really need one species. Once the adults start producing, there will be a wide range of sizes to choose from regarding the nymphs and growth.
