Well my mantis never seems to drink even though there are always droplets in the enclosure. He will walk over the droplets and then lick his legs as if he's thirsty but can't find the water. I don't know what to do. I have only seen him drink once since getting him 4 weeks ago. Is this normal??
I'm really scared about these massive gaps between the abdominal segments which widen when he eats. Like they are pulsating. I'm really scared please reply quickly!!
Ok thanks I feed it 2 large fruit flies every day and he is nice and plump! I can't wait for her to molt I think it will be soon! Thanks for the info!!
Yes like that, but I have seen that it comes up more when he is close to molting and I was told that it was blood and his skin was splitting so that is reassuring. Would there be a reason it is brighter when he is close to molting?
Yes. Rhombodera Basalis. Also the morning after it molted I moved the enclosure because I didn't realise it had molted because it had shown no signs. Had been eating well and exactly the same as how he was a week or two back. So I'm hoping I didn't damage him when I moved the enclosure. Do you...
Also is it ok if I mist it while he is In there and his Exo skeleton is hardening? Because the humidity in my house is really low and my enclosure is completely dry so I'm a bit worried.
