    How dry your area is ? Mine stay around 55% to 65% indoor humidity.

    I plan to breed fruit flies here. Do you think my set up will be ok ? Or do I need to change anything ? I fail once. My flies food mixture become a dry dough. And I spray water in the bottle to try to make the dough more moist. But that just kill all the flies in there. So, I want to ask at here...

    why? I have a giant asian mantis. I don't know where should I put it when it grow big. some website said I should put it at a 30cm by 20cm terrarium. but I don't want to buy the expensive glass terrarium. it take up space as well. I am looking for plastic then I found net cage. It seems good...

    Thank you for everyone share your experience. I will try to keep an eye on mine and hopefully mine is a girl. It’s still too small to tell.

    Thank you everyone. I finally get the fruit fly on Saturday. I feed him/her once, then it stop eating since Sunday. It just moult today. My poor fruit fly all die. I am going to buy some new one. Does anyone know how to keep fruit flies stay alive longer ?

    Thank you mantisgirl. I have a smaller box for it. And I can buy some mesh to make the lid. How small the mesh holes should be to avoid fruit fly to escape and give my mantis enough ventilation ? If I can’t cut the side of the box. Is it ok to just have a mesh lid ?
