What do you do with your mantids during vacations?

I just realized that I don't know of they spray/have sprayed for pests at the place we are staying at. I don't want to leave the nymphs alone though, so I'm stuck in indecision.

What do you do with your mantids during vacations?

For those of you who have taken mantids with you, do you just leave them in their normal enclosures? I'm going to be leaving in a couple days and I want to be sure I'm doing everything well.

What the title says. I'm going on a vacation soon and right now I'm thinking I'll bring them with since I don't have many, and it's a roadtrip.

Maybe I've just been using the wrong search terms, but I can't seem to find temperature requirements for these. I want them, but I'm trying to stick to mantids that are fine at 72° for now. So, what's their minimum for daytime temps? I looked at the dedicated caresheet but it was scant on info...

Scientific name of 'giant asian golden mantis'

I'm a little confused with what the scientific name is. My giant asian golden mantis was sold as Hierodula sp. golden, but I've seen the (I assume) same species being referred to as H. venosa. Is one correct, or are they different species?

    Hi everyone

The way I did it, I just pressed 'click to choose files' and chose it from my phone's gallery.

    Hi everyone

The tutorial is for computers and I'm on my phone, but thanks anyway! 😁 I think I was just trying to upload too many at once.

    Hi everyone

Hello! I come from the tarantula hobby, even though I have been wanting a mantis for longer. I have one mantis right now. I'm trying to upload a pic but it doesn't seem to be working...oh well I'm still figuring out this forum.
