    separated the nymphs today into separate cups and i was wrong. there was 21 nymphs! more must of hatched. i couldn't of missed that many haha. do they have a high survival rate? just wondering so i know whether to sell a few.

    i just saw it as the female didn't get enough sperm or something so she won't have much sperm stored inside her so all her hatch rates will be low. i dunno ha :)

    whats the most oothecas you've had hatch with only 1 mating?

    i have another question. my creobroter gemmatus ooth hatched this morning (her first ooth). it only hatched 15 nymphs. does this mean all her other ooths that i have will have low hatch rates and does this mean she needs remating?

    nice :) so even if my mantis has only been mated once, she could lay say 8 ooths and theyd all be fertile? the last ones would have less nymphs in obviously.

    my creobroter and new zealand mantids need remating and im just wondering how many fertile ooths i'll get out of them. they've both layed 3 so far.

    yeah i think they're a great species :) whats not to like about them? they're full of character, aggressive eaters and their eyes look amazing! i hope i manage to breed them :)

    i bought a pair and my male died so i managed to get about 3-4 fertile ooths out of her :) desana has some of her ooths. i think he/she is gonna keep the species going.
