    blue bottle flies now

Hey Brii, Did you mean put the flies in the fridge for 30 seconds or 30 minutes? o_0 I think 30 mins will definately kill the flies, 30 seconds to 1 minute will stun them though.

    Gongy Injury

Thanks :-) Hopefully she does make it, so far she's still doing fine, no signs of injury unless you take a good look at the spot. On a side note she hasnt molted in quite a while so her next molt should be comming very soon, and im thinking the sooner, the better. As far as dropping the deli...

    Gongy Injury

Yetserday night my little sister accidently tipped over 1 of my Gongy containers, and today I noticed a small amount of dried black/green liquid at the beginning of the females abdomen (where the legs meet). I'm sure this is "Mantis blood" but I'm just concerned, is there any precautions I...

    What species is this?

Not sure if this is much help, but if you cant get ahold of some FF Cultures, I'd smach up some banana and put it in a soda bottle or something of the sort, and make a paper funnel to stick in the hole so wild FF can get easy access in, but would be slightly harder to get out, you should be able...

    SpringTails

Yeah i've used Fruit Flies on them in the past aswell, however I just thought it might be slightly easier to use springtails (if possible) considering they culture on there own and 1 culture can live for a very long time, far longer than they would be needed, unlike fruit flies, that tend to die...

    SpringTails

Hello everybody, Has anyone ever set up a springtail culture in a terrarium, and hatched mantids in the same terrarium to use the springtails as a food source for the hatchlings? I have several gonatista grisea (grizzled mantis) ootheca incubating, and was pondering on the idea of using...
